Simon KrauterSimon is a fourth year ME student from Seattle, WA. He loves to backpack, travel and be outdoors as much as possible. He's worked in the design and manufacturing fields primarily. He looks forward to using his engineering experience to design solutions to make a difference in the world.
Lucas SalemLucas is a fourth year BRAE student born and raised in Morgan Hill, CA. He is interested in urban farming, sustainable food production, energy and resource usage. He's had work experience in irrigation design testing, food processing operations, and harvesting equipment fabrication. He worked at the Irrigation Training and Research Center at Cal Poly and has seen first hand what a difference a good irrigation system can do for a farm. He hopes to continue his engineering work in a career of resource management.

Caleb OstgaardCaleb is a third year Sustainable Engineering and Science, Technology, and Society Studies student originally from Southern California. He enjoys traveling, immersing himself in other cultures, design, cooking, and exploring the outdoors. He's not entirely sure exactly what he wants to do in life, so for the mean time he's gaining experience in various fields with the goal of making solutions that have an impact on local communities throughout the world.
Elysa BriensElysa is a second year EVNM student from San Diego, CA. She's a big fan of green hills, the great outdoors, and travel. She aims for a future in outfield research, preferably pertaining to plant or soil science. While she doesn't have too much experience with development yet, she is excited for the opportunities to come in her next couple years here at Cal Poly.
